Spring Production 2016

Our Spring production will be Michael Palin’s “The Weekend” a contemporary comedy :

When his daughter Diana and her dreary husband Alan, precocious child Charlotte and incontinent dog Pippa come for the weekend, Stephen Febble does his best to be difficult, reaching for the Whisky bottle with sarcasm. Things climax Saturday night when his wife Virginia gives a dinner party and the Podiatrist comes too!

Autumn play: The Inaccurate Conception

This autumn’s production is called ‘The Inaccurate Conception’ and is a comic look at The Nativity, as performed by seven year olds! It will take place on 26th to the 28th of November 2015, at Westbury-on-Trym Methodist Church Hall.

Young teacher Celia Whibley is ‘challenged’ to direct the Primary School Nativity Play. Unruly Class 3C is the least of her troubles. The real obstacles are unhelpful staff bent on sabotage. Will this ‘personal development opportunity’ be worth the struggle?

Teachers, parents and seven-year olds alike, are played by adults in this comic portrayal of everybody’s first brush with theatre: the School Nativity Play.
