November production

We will be producing a Murder Mystery:

Murder on Cue

by Robin Jennifer Miller

“Maple Lodge is a retirement home for actors where gossip and old rivalries sustain the residents as much as dry sherry and shepherd’s pie. Tensions are raised by an outbreak of anonymous poison-pen letters. When the home is cut off by snow, the rewriting of a will and emerging dark secrets make murder perhaps inevitable…”

See flyer below for all details. Look forward to seeing you there.

Spring Production

Everyone worked very hard to pull off three quite varied one act plays. They needed some dramatic scene changes – see past productions for photos. So well done all, now we start fortnightly play readings to decide on the November production. New members always welcome. Dates for November are Thurs. 21st – Sat 23rd

“Babes in the Wood” went well despite some last minute calamities. The audience seemed to enjoy it – well they laughed anyway!

Now we must concentrate on the Spring production, dates 28th – 30th March, save the dates and we’ll let you know more details soon.

Autumn Panto

Our forthcoming production….

A fun-filled pantomime for all the family…

their larger-than-life Nurse,
the evil Sherriff (boo! hiss!),

love-sick Maid Marian,
a wicked Welsh Witch,
mischievous Ghosts
and much more!

Spring Production

Joking Apart by Alan Ayckbourn was a great success and a sell out Friday evening. Many thanks to all who came, we hope you enjoyed the show.

Our next production will be a Pantomime, November 29th, 30th and December 1st. So save those dates and await more information.

Spring Production

We have now chosen our next play:

Westbury Methodist Church  7.30pm

Tickets £7 £6 £5       Box Office Tel: 0117 9508488

Alan Ayckbourn considered “Joking Apart” to be his favourite play. It is a mixture of comedic and painful moments in true Ayckbourn style. It follows the life of “golden couple” Richard & Anthea, and the effect their happy and successful life has on friends and neighbours over a period of 12 years.

Please do come and enjoy it with us.
